The 16 Minute Club: Prenatal Box

I am a sucker for a good subscription box! It should come as no surprise that when I found out that there was an awesome breastfeeding support subscription box I jumped at the opportunity to order.

What is the 16 Minute Club?

The 16 Minute Club is a home delivery, subscription box designed to support breastfeeding moms. Subscriptions come every 6 weeks and are tailored to the stage of nursing that you are in with your baby. These stages range from prenatal all the way through the first year! They also have several specially curated boxes for “Back to Work Moms,” pampering moms, summer breastfeeding support and they’re soon to release a toddler box.

Prenatal Box

_DSC0004Since our little bun in the oven is still cooking for a few more months I picked up their prenatal box and let me just say… WOW! I was so amazed with all these great products. The box came is itself an attractive package. It’s clearly labeled “Box 1: Pre-Natal.” I’m not sure that I would keep a bunch of boxes around to organize everything, but if you’re into that… Really, the goodies are what’s inside, so let’s break into the box and see what’s inside!

OK, so opening the box there’s a nice little welcome message, a navigation path that gives you an idea of what types of products are in the box, and a reminder of which box comes next. The first thing that’s layered on top is an informational binder!! I can only assume that subsequent boxes would have additional information you could keep in the binder so that you have easy reference to all things breastfeeding.

Next, there’s this great little informational card that tells you all about how much your newborn baby should be consuming from Day 1 to Day 10. They even included some cute little visual representations to let you know exactly how big baby’s tummy is. The ping pong ball and plastic egg became instant cat toys for us. Tink Katt was thrilled that she wasn’t left out.

There are also a few things for baby in the box… sample newborn sized diapers from Seventh Generation (plus a coupon!) – these went straight into my almost completely empty diaper bag and a onesie from Assessables that’s supposed to be for the healing umbilical stump. The onesie is an adorable mint green, great gender neutral color since they didn’t ask if I was having a boy or a girl.

The majority of the box is stuff for mom. There’s one Pariday TendHer pillow and pillowcase (to soothe sore nipples) – they do include a coupon if you wish to purchase an actual set. A set of pretty, lacy Breast Assured eco-friendly nursing pads – from what I can tell, these are a proprietary product to the 16 Minute Club (I didn’t see a website where you could order them from, but they do have them available on their own website). A whole package of Bella B Nipple Nurture Breast Wipes – for cleansing, refreshing, and soothing after breastfeeding. And finally a couple of samples from Mother Love (nipple cream and pregnant belly salve) with a nice soft little washcloth.

IBottom of the box goodiesf that all wasn’t enough, at the bottom of the box are a bunch of product info cards (most of which have coupon codes), a demystifying the diaper bookmark, a fun sticker, and a window cling! Featured products included:

The Prenatal box retails for $35.00 and I definitely think you get your money’s worth. The product alone is worth that much, but with all the additional coupons and discounts it’s really a great deal! I can’t wait to see what comes in the next box after our little one arrives!!!
